The Sugar-daddy Theatre Company will present Eugene O'Neill's THIRST at the Alexander Upstairs Theatre as a part of the Cape Town Fringe this year. Directed by Sue Diepeveen, the production will feature Pope Jerrod and Marlisa Doubell.

THIRST is set a century ago and depicts three characters stranded on a raft with a great focus on survival and the apparent lack of water - the latter fact being one to which all Capetonians can relate. A play that can be seen as a metaphor for life, this was the Nobel Prize-winning O'Neill's response to the tragedy of the Titanic.

THIRST will run from 1 - 8 October, with tickets costing R90 - R100 available from the Cape Town Fringe website. The Alexander Bar, Café and Theatre is situated at 76 Strand Street in the Cape Town city centre and can be followed on Facebook and Twitter.
