Alexander Upstairs to Welcome Bryan Miles for One Night Only This August

Bryan Miles, a master of the wicked manipulation of the mind and a performer who is trained in the art of thought deception, returns to the Alexander Bar this August for one night only in a new self-titled show.
Miles has performed across the globe, from London to Los Angeles, for movie stars and celebrities. His groundbreaking prime time SABC television series, ONE DAY WITH BRYAN MILES, has had South Africans across the country questioning what is possible and what is not.
Miles can seemingly influence and predict human behaviours. By using his skill set of magic, suggestion and psychology, he is able to theatrically manipulate people's perceptions of the world. BRYAN MILES: LIVE sees him sharing some of his unique obsessions from childhood with the audience. Despite his apparent ability to extract people's innermost thoughts or control their behaviour, Miles considers himself to be an ordinary person with extraordinary skills:
I am obsessed with the human mind. Does free will exist? Are the thoughts and decisions we make truly our own? Every thought we have results in some kind of action - I don't read minds, I read people.
BRYAN MILES: LIVE takes place at the Alexander Upstairs on 24 August at 19:00. Tickets are available from the Alexander Bar website, with seats costing R75 if booked and prepaid online or R85 if paid on collection at the bar. For telephone enquiries, call 021 300 1652. The Alexander Bar, Café and Theatre is situated at 76 Strand Street in the Cape Town city centre and can be followed on Facebook and Twitter.
