Omaha, Nebraska is teeming with talent. And once in awhile you come across a person who is more than a performer in the spotlight; she is a light. Camille Metoyer Moten is a singer, actress, author, and inspirational human being. She will appear in her own show at the Omaha Community Playhouse on June 8 and 9 at 7:30 pm and on June 10 at 2:00 pm.

The Ogunquit Playhouse is the first fully staged Regional theatre in the nation to produce an all new production of Sunset Boulevard starring Stefanie Powers as Norma Desmond, July 28 through August 14, complete with the Tony Nominated costumes by the Academy Award winning designer, Anthony Powell and an all new set designed exclusively for the Ogunquit stage by Todd Ivins. This musical is based on the film noir classic by Billy Wilder that starred Gloria Swanson and William Holden. It is the winner of seven Tony Awards including Best Musical and features some of Andrew Lloyd Webber's loveliest melodies including, 'With One Look' and 'As If We Never Said Goodbye.' Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit completed its limited Broadway run at the Shubert Theatre (West 44th Street) on Sunday, July 19th, 2009.

The 2008-2009 Reprise Theatre Company season continues with the classic international hit 'Man of La Mancha,' starring Brent Spiner as Cervantes/Quixote. Julia Migenes, the renowned opera and theatre performer, will play Aldonza/Dulcinea; Valerie Perri will play the role of Aldonza/Dulcinea at matinee performances; and Tony nominee Lee Wilkof will play Sancho Panza.

On Friday, February 23rd at 5:30 pm at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle, Raúl Esparza and the entire cast of Company performed three musical numbers from the classic Stephen Sondheim score in conjunction with the release of the new cast recording of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival.

Broadway lovers and teddy bear collectors came together on Sunday, February 11, at the 'Broadway Bears X' auction, which raised a grand total of $130,000 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
