Though the weather is still warm, soon the leaves will be turning and the Fall 2015 theatre season will be upon us. Here's a list of some of the offerings from September through December.

North Carolina Theatre, the region's premiere nonprofit professional regional theatre producing Broadway musical revivals, announces the full cast of its last production of the 2014/2015 season. Buddy- The Buddy Holly Story playing July 21-26 at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium in the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. Check out an exclusive first look below!

THE VISIT cast album, available now, is a joint release of two labels: Broadway Records and Yellow Sound Label, and is co-executive produced by Hunter Arnold, Carl Daikelerand Sandi Moran. Just last week, July 9, the company reunited at Barnes and Noble (150 East 86th Street) for a CD signing and performance. BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the special performance below!

The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents and marketing professionals, presented the 5th annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards on June 16th at Sardi's, honoring outstanding achievement in Off Broadway theatre for the 2014 - 2015 season. Honorees were on hand to receive their awards and Arthur Gelb, Judith Malina and Marian Seldes were posthumously inducted into the Off Broadway Hall of Fame.

The original Broadway version of Kander and Ebb's Tony-nominated musical THE VISIT closes today, June 14, 2015. The Visit began performances at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street) on Thursday, March 26 and officially opened on Thursday, April 23. The 2015 Lilly Awards were held on June 1, 2015 and celebrated and honored women of distinction in American theater. The Lilly Awards are given out by The Lilly Award Foundation. This years event was hosted by 2015 Tony Award nominee LISA KRON (Fun Home) and it was held at Playwrights Horizons. 

New York City. May 30, 2015-The 5th annual Gershwin Awards, a celebration of outstanding achievement in musical theater performance by high school students, was held on today at Chelsea Studios to select the Best Leading Actress and Best Leading Actor in the Greater New York City metropolitan area.

Edgar Bronfman Jr. and Liz Smith hosted a Luncheon to honor the Broadway Legend, and star of the 2015 Tony Award Nominated Musical The Visit, Chita Rivera, yesterday. Check out a look back below!

Manhattan Theatre Club just presented their annual Spring Gala last night, at Cipriani 42nd Street (110 East 42nd Street). This year's gala was hosted by Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski ('The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,' Nine) and featured special guest and Tony Award nominee for Airline Highway K. Todd Freeman, and performances by many of the most acclaimed musicals on Broadway including: Beautiful, Finding Neverland, Gigi, It Shoulda Been You, On The Town, Something Rotten!, and The Visit. The company of Broadway's The Visit gathered in the studio today, April 27th, to record the musical's original cast album. The Visit is the final musical ever written by legendary Oscar Award, Grammy Award and Tony Award-winning composer John Kander and his writing partner lyricist Fred Ebb, before Mr. Ebb passed away. Produced by the Emmy Award-winning and Grammy nominated producer Michael Croiter (Matilda, Big Fish, Heathers), The Visit album will be released June 26th, 2015. George Takei, who will soon be making his Broadway debut in 'Allegiance' next Fall took in Kander & Ebb's new musical 'The Visit' and made a backstage visit to congratulate Chita Rivera after the show. The two shared a 'trekkie' moment in her dressing room. Tomorrow the cast goes into the recording studio to record the original cast album which will be out in June. On her Sunday off from Broadway's IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU, Tyne Daly went to see her friend Chita Rivera in THE VISIT at the Lyceum Theater and congratulated her (after jumping to her feet for the standing ovation) backstage in her dressing room after the show. THE VISIT is set to open this Thursday, April 23rd, making it the final musical and the last show to open in the 2014-2015 season. Scroll down for a photo!

Christopher Swan leads the cast of the 2014 - 2015 National Tour of GUYS AND DOLLS in the role of the infamous crap-shooter Nathan Detroit. Swan joins Lauren Weinberg as Detroit's long-suffering fiancee of fourteen years, Miss Adelaide, Matthew J. Taylor as the charming and slick gambler Sky Masterson, and Kayleen Seidl as the upright, but uptight 'mission doll,' Sarah Brown. Performances for MOTOWN THE MUSICAL begin Tuesday, February 24 for a limited two week run through Sunday, March 8, 2015. MOTOWN THE MUSICAL is part of the 2014-2015 Broadway in Fort Lauderdale Series presented by Broadway Across America and Florida Theatrical Association in partnership with The Broward Center for the Performing Arts. When asked about working with Chita Rivera to shoot the image, photographer Frank Ockenfels told NYT: 'She's a grand dame.There are not a lot people left like her. She was so present and giving. There was no, "We're done." She said, "Is there more I can do?" Sometimes with someone of her age, they are conscious of being overlit. But she was more about what makes sense for the photograph, which is tremendously helpful. It was amazing to see her work with other actors and how she moved gracefully and beautifully. She had to step up on a piece of steel and she got up and there were no complaints. She moves around like a 20-year-old.'

The 2014/2015 National Tour of Lerner & Loewe's CAMELOT re-imagines the tale of King Arthur, Guenevere and Lancelot. Tour dates include Nashville, Providence, Omaha, Fayetteville, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Fort Myers, Wilmington, Hartford and St. Paul among others. Tony and Olivier Award winning producers, Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley hosted a dinner in honor of the 2014-2015 Directors Project fellows on Tuesday, May 13th. The Directors Project fellows are in New York city for an intensive week-long orientation program which includes a series of events and opportunities to speak with theatre professionals.
