Yesterday, May 8, the cast of Broadway's GHOST visited New York Citiy's 14th St. Apple Store for a performance and discussion. The event featured cast members Richard Fleeshman (Sam Wheat), Caissie Levy (Molly Jensen) and Da'Vine Joy Randolph (Oda Mae Brown), and a live performance of songs from the original score composed by multiple Grammy Award winners Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard. Yesterday, May 7, Magnolia Bakery honored Broadway's GHOST with a new cupcake. The 'Ditto' Cupcake is a classic vanilla or chocolate cupcake with pale blue vanilla bean meringue icing and is topped with a light and airy miniature meringue. BWW is excited to share a first look at production photos of the supernatural power of love, which has arrived on Broadway this spring as Ghost the Musical! The show, adapted from the Academy Award winning film, opens Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

GHOST: THE MUSICAL began previews on Thursday, March 15th at The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. GHOST: THE MUSICAL is directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus and choreographed by Ashley Wallen. GHOST: THE MUSICAL is created by a team of Grammy and Academy Award winners, with a brand-new original score by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, with a book by Bruce Joel Rubin, who has adapted his Academy Award winning original screenplay for the stage. This brand new score also includes the iconic song "Unchained Melody," famously performed in the film by The Righteous Brothers.

Ghost, the new musical starring Caissie Levy and Richard Fleeshman as Molly Jensen and Sam Wheat will open on Broadway at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. In advance of the Broadway transfer of Ghost the Musical, this morning Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy handed over the leading roles of Sam Wheat and Molly Jensen as they are headed for Broadway. Mark Evans (Welsh TV star and last on stage in the West End as Fiyero in Wicked) and Siobhan Dillon (finalist in Andrew Lloyd Webber's first reality TV show How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? and most recently on stage in the West End in Legally Blonde The Musical) will take on the West End roles on Friday January 13th. They were joined at London's Picadilly Theatre today by Sharon D. Clarke and Andrew Langtree (West End) and Da'Vine Joy Randolph and Bryce Pinkham (Broadway) who play Oda Mae Brown and Carl Bruner.
