Playwrights Horizons World Premiere production of The Patron Saint of Sea Monsters, a new play by Blackburn Prize winner Marlane Meyer (The Chemistry of Change and Moe's Lucky Seven for PH; Etta Jenks), will play a limited engagement through Sunday evening, December 1 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street). Directed by two-time Obie Award winner Lisa Peterson (The Chemistry of Change for PH; An Iliad, Slavs!), the production opened last night, November 12 and you can check out photos from the festivities below!

Playwrights Horizons will present the World Premiere production of THE PATRON SAINT OF SEA MONSTERS, a new play by Blackburn Prize winner Marlane Meyer (The Chemistry of Change and Moe's Lucky Seven for PH; Etta Jenks). Primary Stages, in association with Ted Snowdon, launches their 29th season with the New York premiere of Harbor at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. Written by Tony-nominated Chad Beguelin (Elf, The Wedding Singer) and directed by Tony-nominated director Mark Lamos (Seascape, The Rivals, The Deep Blue Sea), the production features Erin Cummings (Starz's 'Spartacus: Blood and Sand', ABC's 'Pan Am,' CBS' 'Made In Jersey'), Randy Harrison (Showtime's 'Queer As Folk', Broadway's Wicked), Alexis Molnar (world premiere of Harbor at Westport Playhouse), and Paul Anthony Stewart (Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof, The People in the Picture). Tony Award-nominee Jonathan Groff performed two solo concerts at Joe's Pub on Father's Day, June 20th, at 7:00pm and 9:30pm. Groff, who guest starred on GLEE this season with former SPRING AWAKENING co-star Lea Michele, was accompanied by Jonathan Haffiner, Craig Taborn, Eivind Opsvik, Ben Perowsky, and Kenny Wollesen for both performances at Joe's Pub.

Hamingson) announced today that the first preview of Craig Lucas' THE SINGING FOREST has been moved to Friday, April 10 due to the need for additional technical rehearsals. Directed by Mark Wing-Davey, THE SINGING FOREST was scheduled to begin previews on Tuesday, April 7 and open on Monday, April 27. The show will now open on Tuesday, April 28 at 7 PM.
