The Town Hall presented Broadway By The Year: Volume 1: Broadway Musicals of 2000-2004 on Monday, February 24 at 8pm. Created, written, hosted and directed by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall, the evening launched Broadway By The Year©'s 20th landmark season at The Town Hall (123 W. 43rd Street).

Vintage Theatre presents the regional premiere of 'The Oldest Boy' September 16 through October 23, at Vintage Theatre, 1468 Dayton St., Aurora 80010. Ars Nova presents THE ARS NOVA REVOLUTION, celebrating Ars Nova All Stars Jill Furman, Thomas Kail and Lin-Manuel Miranda, from Freestyle Love Supreme (Ars Nova, 2004) to HAMILTON (Broadway, 2015). This epic night of revelry benefiting Ars Nova's artist community, featuring performances by cast members of Hamilton and Freestyle Love Supreme, was held just last night at The Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street). Olivier Award winner David Bedella will play razor-wielding madman Sweeney Todd and Sarah Ingram his pie-making partner in crime, Mrs Lovett, in an intimate new production of the Tony Award and Olivier Award-winning musical, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by Hugh Wheeler, will kick-off the autumn season at Twickenham Theatre in West London. It will start previews on Wednesday 10 September and runs to Saturday 4 October. Press night is Tuesday 16 September at 7.45pm.

Uptown Players closes its 2014 season with the Regional Premiere of the 2003 Tony Award winning musical, The Boy From Oz. This is the first regional theater production announced in the United States since the Broadway production and will run July 25 through August 10, 2014 at the Kalita Humphreys Theater. Yale Repertory Theatre presents the world premiere of Sarah Ruhl's DEAR ELIZABETH, a play in letters from Elizabeth Bishop to Robert Lowell and back again, directed by Les Waters, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street), November 30-December 22. Opening Night is tonight, December 6. The cast of DEAR ELIZABETH is Mary Beth Fisher and Jefferson Mays. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the pair onstage in the photos below!

New Georges (Susan Bernfield, Artistic Director; Sarah Cameron Sunde, Associate Director; Jaynie Saunders Tiller, Managing Director), the OBIE Award-winning downtown theater company founded in 1992, will present 'THE GERM PROJECT,' featuring the work of playwrights Kara Lee Corthron (directed by Kara-Lynn Vaeni), Lynn Rosen (directed by Shoshana Gold), Kathryn Walat (directed by Portia Krieger), and Anna Ziegler (directed by Beatrice Terry). The four 'germs' of full-length plays of scope and adventure commissioned by New Georges for this project will be presented together, fully produced, in a cohesive and satisfying ninety-minute intermission-less evening. There will be a connective thread to the pieces that will take place with visuals and storytelling. 'THE GERM PROJECT' will be performed at 3LD Art & Technology Center, 80 Greenwich Street (just south of Rector). Previews will begin on June 11, and the official Opening Night will be Monday, June 20 at 8:00 p.m. Performances will run through July 9.

From April 22-30, the Independent Drama Society completes its 2010-2011 season, a season of love and loathing, with EURYDICE by Sarah Ruhl, directed by Artistic Director Lindsay Eagle (The Shape of Things).

MCC Theater (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, Artistic Directors; William Cantler, Associate Artistic Director; Blake West, Executive Director) presents the world premiere ofAlexander Dinelaris' Still Life, directed by Will Frears. The cast features Dominic Chianese, Halley Feiffer, Ian Kahn, Adriane Lenox, Kelly McAndrew, Sarah Paulson,Matthew Rauch and Frederick Weller. Performances began at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on September 16 and continue through November 1, 2009. Author of the Alley's outstanding success The Clean House, Sarah Ruhl creates a tale based on the Greek myth of Orpheus that is 'exhilarating' as 'we enter a surreal world, as lush and limpid as a dream' (The New Yorker). On the day Eurydice is to marry her true love Orpheus, a misstep sends her to the surreal depths of the Underworld, where she has a surprising reunion and ultimately must decide whether to follow Orpheus back to the land of the living. The New York Times described Eurydice as 'a magical play with gripping emotional potency...a love letter to the world...'

Stage 13 (Artistic Directors: Dan Fogler, Sarah Saltzberg, Bjorn Thorstad) hosted a party this Monday, October 20 at 8:00PM at Bar 13 (35 East 13th St) to benefit their fall production, the New York Premiere of The Rise and Fall of Annie Hall by Sam Foreman. The benefit included 2-for-1 drinks, raffle prizes (including tickets to August: Osage County, dress rehearsal tickets to 'Saturday Night Live,' and tickets to Don't Quit Your Night Job).

It's the third Broadway show for Sarah Jane, and the second time this former beauty pageant winner is understudying a Kristin Chenoweth part.
