San Jose Stage Company continues their Season 35 honoring an American Theatre icon who shaped the very core of their organization with their presentation of Sam Shepard's Fool for Love. This cowboy romance dissects the poignant causes and effects of love lost through the retrospective eyes of two past lovers.

Based on the 1989 Broadway musical of the same name with music and lyrics by Barry Keating and a book by Keating and Stuart Ross, STARMITES blasts off boasting an instant earworm score packed with delectable pop gems, epic ensemble sequences, and one of the most show-stopping diva showcases of all time at its center. Like no musical before or since, STARMITES is truly in a galaxy all its own.

In celebration of Liza's birthday, the duo joined forces last night at The Town Hall to sing familiar songs from 'Cabaret' and Liza dipped into her repertoire of signature songs known the world over. The highly anticipated Roundabout Theatre Company revival of Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht's hard-edged classic The Threepenny Opera will run at Studio 54 from March 24th through June 11th.
