As we celebrate The Evolution of NYCB's artistry this winter, audiences will bear witness to the evolution of an artist when Principal Dancer Tiler Peck presents CONCERTO FOR TWO PIANOS, her choreographic debut for the Company, on February 1.

On day three, we celebrate one of the first Tony sightings of a Best Featured Actress in a Musical nominee, Lindsay Mendez, who stopped by the 2010 ceremony to back up Sherie Rene Scott in their number from Everyday Rapture.

Tony and Grammy award-nominated Michael McElroy and Broadway Inspirational Voices released the seventh video in their 'Broadway Our Way' series today, offering 'Edelweiss' from the legendary musical The Sound of Music, music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II (Oklahoma; South Pacific; Carousel; King and I). Kansas City Rep's presentation of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Carousel, directed by Kyle Hatley, the theatre's associate artistic director, runs now through March 31, 2013. This is the musical theatre event that sparked delight in hearts of audience members and critics alike when it was first presented in 2011 by The Living Room (TLR), one of Kansas City's most imaginative small theatre companies. Transport Group (TG), the winner of a special 2007 Drama Desk Award and 2007 and 2010 OBIE Awards, will present the first major New York revival of Hello Again, words and music by Michael John LaChiusa (suggested by the play La Ronde by Arthur Schnitzler), and directed by Artistic Director Jack Cummings III (two-time Drama Desk Award nominee for Outstanding Director for TG's The Audience and The Boys in the Band), beginning performances Friday, March 4, with an opening scheduled for Sunday, March 20, at 52 Mercer Street. Arena Stage begins a new life in its renovated home at the Mead Center for American Theater in Southwest D.C., opening its inaugural season with a classic American musical that similarly embraces life on a new frontier. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! is the first production at the Mead Center and features an all-star cast under the direction of Artistic Director Molly Smith.
