Anthony Newley was a British actor, singer, songwriter, and composer who made a name for himself in both the West End and on Broadway. Born on September 24, 1931, in London, Newley began his career in entertainment as a child actor, appearing in films such as "Oliver Twist" and "The Adventures of Robin Hood."
