Britt Berke is a director of theatre and film. Her work interrogates love, power, and how these entities are intertwined and revolutionized; often staging delight and spectacle as a means of examining intimacy and taboo. Britt nourishes the development of new work, and reenergizes revivals of plays and musicals. Britt made her Off-Broadway directorial debut with the World Premiere of Becomes a Woman by Betty Smith (author of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn) at Mint Theater Company.
