Adam Cork writes mainly for the stage, creating integrated music/sound scores embracing instrumental music, electronic music, sound design and song. His musical London Road (NT) won the 2011 Critics’ Circle Award for Best Musical. A film version was released in 2015. His other scores and sound designs include King Lear (Donmar Warehouse, Olivier Award 2011), Anna Christie (Evening Standard Award 2011), Red (Donmar Warehouse/Broadway, Tony Award 2010), Travesties (Tony nomination 2018 Best Sound), Enron (Tony nominations 2010 Best Score, Best Sound), Macbeth (Tony nomination 2008), Frost/Nixon (Broadway 2007). Richard Hudson was born in Zimbabwe and educated in Zimbabwe and England. In 1988 he won a Laurence Olivier Award for designing a season of seven plays at the Old Vic Theatre, London. His set designs for The Lion King have won numerous awards, including a Tony® in 1998. He is a Royal Designer for Industry (RDI). In 2003 he won the Gold Medal for Set Design at the Prague Quadriennale, and in 2005 he was given an honorary doctorate by the University of Surrey.
