Classic Stage Company, also known as CSC, is a non-profit Off-Broadway theater company located in New York City. Founded in 1967, the company is dedicated to presenting classic works and new plays that explore the great themes of human existence. Over the years, CSC has become known for its innovative productions and its commitment to nurturing emerging artists. Broadway credits include Annie Get Your Gun, Jekyll & Hyde, The Heiress, Stephen Sondheim’s Passion and The Elephant Man. Her lighting of Amadeus won a Tony award. Regionals include JF Kennedy Center, the Guthrie, Arena Stage, the Alley. Off B’way she worked for Joseph Chaikin and Meredith Monk. For Robert Wilson; Einstein on the Beach and others. Her designs for dance: Martha Graham, Trisha Brown, Alvin Ailey, Merce Cunningham. Awards: seven Tony nominations, several American Theatre Wings, 1980 Obie and others.
