Evita Revival

Audiences have under a month left to catch the West End production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical masterpiece, Evita, the story of an ordinary woman's meteoric rise to power at a time of extreme political unrest.

Following its smash hit run at London's Dominion Theatre, Bill Kenwright's production of the extraordinary musical, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita, is thrilling audiences once again across the UK. Taking on the iconic role of Eva Peron is one of musical theatre's most exciting leading ladies today, Emma Hatton. Making his UK debut is leading Italian performer Gian Marco Schiaretti as Che. Joining them will be Kevin Stephen-Jones, set to play Argentine President Juan Peron.

Last seen in the West End three years ago at the Dominion Theatre, Bill Kenwright's production of Evita has opened at the Phoenix Theatre for a three-month limited run. Hot off the heels of its most recent UK tour, Emma Hatton and Gian Marco Schiaretti have reprised their roles as Eva Peron and Che and are, without doubt, the strongest pair to have led the show for years.

Bill Kenwright's hugely successful national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic musical Evita makes a highly anticipated return to the West End. Playing a strictly limited 12 week season at London's Phoenix Theatre, the season marks the 65th anniversary of the death of Eva Peron, set to be commemorated in Argentina this summer.

Actress and singer Emma Hatton's previous work includes We Will Rock You and Wicked. She's now starring in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's iconic musical Evita, which returns to the West End - previews begin at Phoenix Theatre tomorrow night.
