The Grolier Club will present Richard Aldington: Versatile Man of Letters, a major exhibition highlighting the work of British poet, critic, translator, novelist, and biographer Richard Aldington (1892–1962). On view in the Grolier Club’s second-floor gallery from September 11 through November 15, 2025, the exhibition traces Aldington’s life and career through more than 100 items from the collection of Grolier Club member Simon Hewett.

Bohemian of the Arroyo Seco: Idah Meacham Strobridge is the first exhibition exploring the impact this pioneering gallerist and writer had on the development of Los Angeles culture during this period.

The World Premiere production of “Four Children” has been brought to life by the Kansas City Actors Theatre on the City Stage inside Union Station as a minimalist, sadly shocking view of war against children and on a number of levels. It is not to be missed during its several week run.
The playwright has taken snippets from the diaries of four childhood victims of successful or attempted genocides. Their testimony is woven together paragraph by paragraph into a seamless, searing whole despite each being separated by decades and thousands of miles.
