John Little will play the iconic Ebenezer Scrooge in Troy Siebels' 15th annual production of A Christmas Carol at The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts. Little, a Yale School of Drama graduate, is known for his work on the national tour of Cabaret (Roundabout Theatre Company) and HBO's 'Boardwalk Empire'.

 Irish Repertory Theatre announced today three Performance on Screen digital productions for their Summer 2021 season. Ghosting, by Anne O’Riordan and Jamie Beamish and directed for streaming by Jamie Beamish, will premiere on Tuesday June 22, 2021. Casting has just been announced for the 13th Street Rep's production of ASCAP Award-winning playwright Chip Deffaa's new musical comedy 'Theater Boys.' The show, which opens September 21st, will run in repertory this fall at the 13th Street Repertory Theater (50 W. 13th Street, NYC,,www.13thstreetrep.org), along with Deffaa's musical play 'One Night with Fanny Brice' (starring Chloe Brooks), and Israel Horovotz's 'Line' (now in its 40th year at the theater), which is New York's longest-running production. A cast album for 'Theater Boys'--now in the works--will be released in October. And the Rep, according to founder/artistic director Edith O'Hara, has plans to present two additional shows by Deffaa, following 'Theater Boys.'

Chip Deffaa's new musical play "Irving Berlin's America," which opened Sunday, June 15th at the 13th Street Repertory Theater, will have a post-performance celebration tonight (Thursday June 19th). "We're inviting the audience to stay after the show for some cake and soda, and a post-show discussion with the cast about Berlin. We have a lot to celebrate," noted writer/director Deffaa. "The show, which just opened, has just found a publisher. And we're celebrating the birthday of costar Giuseppe Bausilio, who is turning 17. If there's a more talented 17-year-old out there, I haven't met him! And if that were not enough, this is also the anniversary of the day Berlin copyrighted his first hit, more than 100 years ago!"

As previously reported, Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that Stephanie J. Block will join the Tony Award winning company of Anything Goes performing the role of 'Reno Sweeney' while Sutton Foster is filming the television pilot, Bunheads, for 3 weeks in November. Specific dates have been announced today and Block will officially be stepping into the role November 4 through November 22.

Donny Osmond was recently featured in a spoof on Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show." With Charlie Sheen gone, Osmond starred in a preview of the new version of "Two and a Half Men."
