THE MAN WHO ATE MICHAEL ROCKEFELLER - Jeff Cohen's play that enjoyed great success during its world-premiere at the West End Theatre off-off-Broadway in Manhattan in the fall - will return for a limited engagement Off-Broadway at the Arclight Theatre (152 W. 71 St.) with previews starting February 2, 2011 prior to a press opening on Wednesday, February 9.

Goodman Theatre Cancels TRINITY RIVER PLAYS, 2/2

Due to anticipated severe weather conditions, Goodman Theatre will cancel its Wednesday, February 2 performance of The Trinity River Plays at 7:30pm. All ticket holders will be contacted by the theater in order to exchange tickets for another date. Subscribers only can exchange online: visit www.GoodmanTheatre.org. The new Broadway musical Baby It's You! tells the inspiring story of Florence Greenberg, the woman who changed the recording world forever when she discovered The Shirelles and created Scepter Records, becoming the music industry's first female powerhouse. Starring Tony Award winner Beth Leavel as Greenberg, conceived by Floyd Mutrux, directed by Floyd Mutrux and Sheldon Epps, and written by Tony nominated book writers Mutrux and Colin Escott, the team behind Broadway's Million Dollar Quartet, Baby It's You! begins performances at Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street) Saturday, March 26, 2011, and opens Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at 6:30pm. Baby It's You! features a cast of 19 that includes Allan Louis, Geno Henderson, Erica Ash, Kelli Barrett, Kyra DaCosta, Crystal Starr Knighton, Barry Pearl, Christina Sajous, Brandon Uranowitz, Alison Cimmet, Erica Dorfler, Berlando Drake, Adam Heller, Jahi A. Independent Voices Festival Enters Week 4 with Shows and a Special Events

The Centre Theater's Independent Voices Festival enters it penultimate week with three shows and one special event. Again the festival spotlights African American theatre with plays by two emerging Philadelphia playwrights. Robert Millers 'Portrait in Black and White' will premiere at the Festival and Tiffany Joyner's 'Apologies are for the Living' will encore after a critically successful run at the Philadelphia Urban Theatre festival in September.
