Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love 1991

Some of the shows that the Orpheum has been best known for are Stomp, which ran there for an astounding 29 years, from 1994 to 2023, and the original production of Little Shop of Horrors which spent over five years at the theater from 1982 to 1987.

Artistic Director Antoni Cimolino has announced the 2023 season, inspired by the theme of Duty vs Desire. The playbill includes 13 lively and thought-provoking productions across four theatres, along with a full slate of events in The Meighen Forum.

Full casting has been announced for the live reading via Zoom of UNIDENTIFIED HUMAN REMAINS AND THE TRUE NATURE OF LOVE by Brad Fraser, directed by Jacob Van Hoorn.

Five years since its Canadian premiere at Edmonton's Workshop West Theatre, with subsequent celebrated productions in New York, London, Winnipeg, and Ottawa, Touchstone Theatre brings Brad Fraser's frank, fearless, and ferociously funny play to Vancouver audiences.

Chicago's summer theater season promises to heat up considerably when Brad Fraser's ground-breaking play, Love and Human Remains, a bawdy, carnal, modern day tale of Chicago thirtysomethings on the hunt for love, sex and acceptance while a serial killer is in their midst, returns to Chicago after a 20+ year absence in a daring new production from Cor Theatre, directed by Ernie Nolan.
