The 2015 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting today announced its judging panel ahead of this year's official launch on 29 January 2015, which will also mark the Prize's 10th anniversary. The competition, a unique partnership between the Royal Exchange Theatre and property company Bruntwood, will accept entries from 30 January 2015.

The Vineyard Theatre today announced that their 2015 Gala will honor Tony Award-winning producer Margo Lion. John Waters (Hairspray, Cry Baby) will host the Gala show.

According to Deadline, TWILIGHT and NURSE JACKIE star Peter Facinelli has signed on to join PUSHING DAISIES' Anna Friel in NBC' upcoming drama pilot ODYSSEY, from writer/producer Peter Horton. Jake Robinson (The Carrie Diaries) also co-stars.

Real-life mother and son Tony and Emmy Award nominee Kate Burton (The Corn is Green, The Cherry Orchard, Hedda Gabler at the Huntington) and Morgan Ritchie (The Corn is Green) will play mother and son onstage together for the first time when they return to the Huntington Theatre Company for a lush new production of Anton Chekhov's passionate classic The Seagull. Comedy stars Mark Heap and Robert Webb will head to the West End to play the roles of Jeeves and Wooster in the five-star hit Perfect Nonsense taking over from Stephen Mangan and Matthew Macfadyen from 7 April 2014. Mark Hadfield will continue in the role of Seppings alongside Heap and Webb.
