Beginning August 13, Artists Repertory Theatre and Sydney Theatre Company will bring a world-class production of EuGene O'Neill's gut-wrenching autobiographical play Long Day's Journey Into Night to Portland. So close to his own life, Long Day's Journey Into Night is a story O'Neill did not want shared until 25 years after his death.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin recently announced that Amy Corcoran will direct the Company's production of the award-winning Annie Baker play, Circle Mirror Transformation. The comedy runs November 4-21, 2010 in the Studio Theatre at the Addison Theatre Centre. WaterTower Theatre will celebrate its 15th anniversary with its 2010-2011 season.

Tickets for the upcoming Broadway production of George Bernard Shaw's play Mrs. Warren's Profession go on sale to the general public on July 30. The production, to be produced by the Roundabout Theatre Company, will star Tony® Award winner Cherry Jones as Kitty Warren and Golden Globe winner Sally Hawkins making her Broadway debut as Vivie Warren and will be directed by Tony® Award winner Doug Hughes at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd St). The cast will also feature Adam Driver as Frank Gardner, Mark Harelik as Sir George Crofts, Edward Hibbert as Mr. Praed and Michael Siberry as Reverend Samuel Gardner.

Deadline.com reports that Amy Ryan has joined the cast of HBO's 'In Treatment' for its upcoming third season. She will be replacing Academy Award-winner Dianne Wiest as a new therapist for Dr. Paul Weston. A season premiere date has not been announced. Ryan was previously seen on HBO in 'The Wire.'

The production, which began its run in November 2009 is directed by Jim Corti, with musical direction by Doug Peck. Writers' Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce that A Minister's Wife, Writers' Theatre's musical adapted from George Bernard Shaw's Candida, will be produced by Lincoln Center Theater in the 2010-11 season. The original musical was conceived and directed by Michael Halberstam, adapted by Austin Pendleton with music by Joshua Schmidt and lyrics by Jan Tranen. The Lincoln Center production will be directed by Halberstam. Performances begin on Thursday, April 7, 2011 and opens on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street, New York City).
