Today, April 29, The Hartt School of the University of Hartford in Connecticut announced that Tony Award Nominee, Marin Ireland is the recipient of the 2010 Hartt Alumni Award. The award will be conferred on Ms. Ireland, who received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The Hartt School in 2000, during Commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 16, 2010.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Theatre on Film and Tape Archive (TOFT) is to tape the Irish Repertory Theatre's hit revival of George Bernard Shaw's CANDIDA on April 21. Writers' Theatre Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma announce that A Minister's Wife, Writers' Theatre's musical adapted from George Bernard Shaw's Candida, will be produced by Lincoln Center Theater in the 2010-11 season. The original musical was conceived and directed by Michael Halberstam, adapted by Austin Pendleton with music by Joshua Schmidt and lyrics by Jan Tranen. The Lincoln Center production will be directed by Halberstam. Performances begin on Thursday, April 7, 2011 and opens on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street, New York City).

According to their lawyers, the separation is 'entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement' and both Winslet and Mendes are 'fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.'

Giamatti plays plays a struggling attorney who moonlights as a high school wrestling coach.
