San Francisco's Cutting Ball Theater closes its 10thseason with a reprisal of one of Samuel Beckett's funniest and most ironically chilling works for the stage, KRAPP'S LAST TAPE. A hit with critics and audiences alike last season,KRAPP'S LAST TAPE replaces the previously announced one-woman plays BONE TO PICK and World Premiere companion piece DIADEM by Eugenie Chan, featuring actress Paige Rogers; these two original works are postponed due to illness.

Barbara Cook's Spotlight will bring six theater cabaret performers in its fourth season, and audiences will delight in touring productions of Hair, Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific, Wicked, and Next to Normal. Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook finishes up its twelfth season celebrating the diversity of American popular song with a final week of different and dazzling concerts. For 16 nights of pop, folk, cabaret, country, rock, and show tunes, the series explored the best of the golden age of musical standards through to today's most dynamic contemporary songwriting.

Olivier and Tony Award-winning actor Mark Rylance joins the company of Simon McBurney's production of Endgame as Hamm, taking over the role from Richard Briers. Simon McBurney will now play the role of Clov for the duration of the run. Rylance and McBurney will be joined by Miriam Margolyes as previously announced, and Tom Hickey as Nagg. To facilitate the cast changes, the production will now open on 15 October, with previews from 2 October, and run until 5 December.

JERSEY BOYS, which opened to rave reviews on November 6, 2005, continues to set new weekly box office records at the August Wilson Theatre and has been among the top grossing shows on Broadway ever since.
