Five provocative, widely acclaimed plays constitute Palm Beach Dramaworks' 2016-2017 season, which gets underway at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre on Friday evening, October 14 with Tennessee Williams' final masterpiece, the autumnal The Night of the Iguana(1961).

After having worked together for over 7 years, Stuart Thompson and David Turner are forming a new general management company, Thompson Turner Productions, which will have King Charles III as its first Broadway credit and will continue to be a general management company for Broadway and touring shows.  Thompson will continue to produce under the umbrella of Stuart Thompson Productions.

Though notable author Truman Capote passed away in 1984, he vividly comes to life in Jay Presson Allen's one-man show TRU. Actor Michael-Anthony Nozzi will return to the stage at Washington County Playhouse in Hagerstown, MD and portray Capote in this electric one-man show for a one-night only performance on July 23.

The Public Theater announced additional casting today for the 2015 Free Shakespeare in the Park season, beginning Wednesday, May 27 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. This summer will feature Shakespeare's late romances with THE TEMPEST, directed by Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, and CYMBELINE, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan. Jesse Tyler Ferguson will return to the Park this summer as Trinculo in THE TEMPEST, along with Hamish Linklater and Lily Rabe teaming up again with Daniel Sullivan on CYMBELINE to play Posthumus Leonatus/Cloten and Imogen, respectively.

In the end, though, her work was praised by everyone, including Capote's family, as accurately portraying one of America's most controversial authors in his last years.

Riverside Theatre presents the third and final production for this season's Waxlax Stage. The Award-winning Faith Healer will perform on the Waxlax Stage from tonight, April 4-14, 2013 and is presented by Riverside Theatre's Patron Producers.

For the second season in a row, all productions will be staged at the Annenberg Theatre which is located at The Palm Springs Museum Of Art in downtown Palm Springs. CSW's mission is to bring affordable, entertaining, and thought-provoking theatre to Palm Springs and the surrounding communities of the Coachella Valley and to create an Actors' Equity Theater of local, regional, and national influence.
