Written and created by Roger Bean in 2003, with lyrics and arrangements by Brian Baker, this 'juke box musical' features catchy tunes to hum or rock out to while smiling 'all the way' through the evening, and then 'all the way home.'

ITV's Head of Drama, Polly Hill, has announced commission of six-part drama, A Confession, from acclaimed screenwriter, Jeff Pope, starring Martin Freeman and Imelda Staunton to be co-produced by ITV Studios and Urban Myth Films.

The Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute presents choreographer and disability arts innovator Alice Sheppard, along with the Kinetic Light collaborative, in DESCENT, November 15 and 16. Performed on a custom-designed architectural ramp installation with hills, curves, and peaks, DESCENT explores the pleasures of wheeled movement and reckless abandon. Combining dance, architecture, design, and technology, this new evening-length duet takes audiences on a transformative ride and obliterates cultural assumptions of what disability, dance, and beauty can be.

After a sell-out run in June this year in which Laura Linney made her London Theatre debut, she will return to the Bridge to reprise the title role in Richard Eyre's production of My Name is Lucy Barton. Running from 23 January -16 February 2019 for a strictly limited 26 performances, this haunting dramatic monologue is adapted by Rona Munro from Pulitzer Prize-winning Elizabeth Strout's 2016 New York Times best-selling short novel of the same name. Evening performances are Monday to Saturday at 7.45pm with Saturday matinees at 2.30pm. "Sex Status 2.0" takes Simone de Beauvoir's 1949 feminist masterpiece The Second Sex as a jumping off point for a different take on dance performance. Created by choreographer Carrie Ahern in collaboration with performers Carolyn Hall, Kelly Hayes, Donna Costello, Elke Rindfleisch, Anne Parichon, Jennifer Chin, composer and vocalist Starr Busby, lighting designer Jay Ryan, and costume consultant Naoko Nagata; Sex Status 2.0 explores our conditioning as women and what still needs to be uncovered, or shifted. What is authentic femininity? Where does our power lie? What are our deepest desires?
