Beginning this month, the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) will celebrate the iconic work and enduring legacy of composer Kurt Weill with an unprecedented series of events. Opening on Friday, Oct. 19, and running through Tuesday, March 12, CCM's Kurt Weill Festival will incorporate the renowned theatre composer into a broad range of both public performances and classroom exercises.

As part of the 2012 Crossing the Line festival, its annual interdisciplinary festival of contemporary arts, the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) presents the Lecture/Performance Series information as performance, and vice-versa.

On Thursday evening, August 16th Louis Armstrong House Museum will close off 107th Street in front of the museum to present its annual free block party presented by Jazzmobile as part of their 48th annual "Summerfest" concert series. The great Arturo O'Farrill will perform at 7:00 pm. Mexican-born pianist, composer, educator and winner of the Latin Jazz USA Outstanding Achievement Award for 2003, Arturo O'Farrill will heat things up in front of Louis's house!
