This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing 2018

Shakespeare Theatre Company has announced the cast and creative team for the upcoming production of Tectonic Theater Project's Here There Are Blueberries. 

Looking for a way out of their humdrum lives in the outskirts of Glasgow, straight-laced Sean, fresh from dropping out of uni, and the gallus Daro, overflowing with charisma and business 'acumen', reckon they can be the dream team of frozen treats.

In celebration of its 20th Anniversary Season, Theater Alliance has programmed a lineup of innovative, family-friendly, thought-provoking productions that bring the company's values to audiences of all ages. 

The Everyman has gone digital. It will be a while before audiences will be back in the theatre for a real live, interactive, experience so The Everyman have launched the next best thing - and it's all Made in Cork.

ZACH Theatre kicks off 2019 with two show openings, one show closing, and a new "Pay-What-You-Will" program for all Mainstage productions. Hedwig returns to Texas in the Austin debut of the 2014 Tony Award-winning incarnation of John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's Hedwig and the Angry Inch playing The Topfer at ZACH running January 23-March 3, 2019 with a new "Pay-What-You-Will" program to begin with this production. In collaboration with University of Texas at Austin's Drama and Theatre for Youth and Communities (DTYC) MFA Program, This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing will now join the season lineup running January 13, 19, 20, and 26, 2019 in The Whisenhunt at ZACH, performed and devised by the ensemble. Allen Robertson's smash-hit musical for all ages, Tortoise and Hare will close in The Kleberg at ZACH on January 27.

Asheville Creative Arts (ACA), Asheville's professional children's theatre continues to build on new initiatives unveiled in its 5th Milestone Season, growing into its 6th year with innovative mainstage productions, THIS GIRL LAUGHS, THIS GIRL CRIES, THIS GIRL DOES NOTHING and BUGS

Azuka Theatre ends the 2017-2018 season with the world premiere of Mrs. Harrison, by R. Eric Thomas, from May 2 to20, 2018. Mrs.Harrison is the third and final show of the season that celebrated Azuka's commitment to notable Philadelphia playwrights and unique Philadelphia voices. Producing Artistic Director Kevin Glaccum directs this suspenseful dark comedy and drama about two women, one story and their very different memories about their relationship in college. The show runs through May 20, 2018, for a total of 18 performances.  All performances will take place at the Louis Bluver Theatre at The Drake, 302 S. Hicks Street. Tickets for shows this season are Pay What You Decide, whereas audience members see a show first, and pay what they decide after the performance. For reservations, visit azukatheatre.org. Atlantic for Kids (Atlantic Theater Company Artistic Director, Neil Pepe; Atlantic Theater Company Managing Director, Jeffory Lawson; Atlantic Acting School Executive Director, Mary McCann; Atlantic for Kids Artistic Director, Alison Beatty) has added two public performances of This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing, a play by Finegan Kruckemeyer with original music by Nate Weida. Directed by Alison Beatty and Tom Costello, performances will now conclude on Sunday, March 11th, 2018 at Atlantic Theater Company's Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues).
