The Whirligig 2017

"In a whirligig of grief" is how one character describes the emotional state of another in Hamish Linklater's ambitious new play, THE WHIRLIGIG, receiving a fine premiere mounting by The New Group's artistic director, Scott Elliott.

BroadwayWorld has teamed up with renowned caricature artist Ken Fallin, a life-long theater enthusiast, who has drawn many Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. Due to demand, The New Group has announced an additional week for the company's world premiere production of Hamish Linklater's The Whirligig, with Noah Bean, Norbert Leo Butz, Jon DeVries, Alex Hurt, Zosia Mamet, Jonny Orsini, Grace Van Patten and Dolly Wells. 

The New Group proudly presents Hamish Linklater's The Whirligig, with Noah Bean, Norbert Leo Butz, Jon DeVries, Alex Hurt, Zosia Mamet, Jonny Orsini, Grace Van Patten and Dolly Wells, in a world premiere production directed by Scott Elliott.

The New Group will present Hamish Linklater's The Whirligig, starring Dolly Wells, Noah Bean, Norbert Leo Butz, Jon DeVries, Alex Hurt, Zosia Mamet, Jonny Orsini and Grace Van Patten. This world premiere production directed by Scott Elliott begins previews begin May 4 in advance of an Official Opening Night on Sunday, May 21. A limited Off-Broadway engagement plays through June 11 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).
