Launching the new year in dramatic style, NBC has set January premiere dates for three key midseason series — “The New Celebrity Apprentice,” now in Los Angeles and starring master of the boardroom Arnold Schwarzenegger; “Grimm,” which will begin its sixth and final season; and the epic, romantic and wondrous “Emerald City.”

SKYLIGHT by David Hare Opens Burning Coal Theatre Company's 20th Season

Burning Coal Theatre Company will open its 20th season in Raleigh, North Carolina with David Hare's Skylight, a love story about a brashly swaggering, politically conservative middle-aged businessman in the hotels and restaurants trade who stumbles back into the life of a progressive-minded, younger woman with whom he had a tempestuous affair years  before.  The play will run Thursdays through Saturdays, Oct. 6-9, 13-15 and 20-22, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays, October 9, 16, and 23, 2016 at 2 p.m. Performances will take place at Burning Coal's Murphey School Auditorium, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC 27604.

All-Chicago Cast Set for 'Thrones! The Musical Parody' at Apollo Theater

"Thrones! The Musical Parody" sweeps through the Windy City once again this fall at Apollo Theater Chicago (2540 N Lincoln Ave) with a talented ensemble of Chicago up-and-comers bringing the "Game of Thrones" send-up to life. Under the direction of Hannah Todd, the cast of "Thrones! The Musical Parody" includes Caitlyn Cerza, Nick Druzbanski, Madeline Lauzon, Beau Nolen, Victoria Olivier and Christopher Ratliff. This all-Chicago cast combines comedic talents and "knockout vocal harmonies" (Chicago Reader) to bring all six seasons of the HBO hit to the stage, recounting the journey of well-known characters such as Tyrion Lannister, Jon Snow, Cersei Lannister, the Stark family, Daenerys Targaryen and more. Performances for the fall run of "Thrones! The Musical Parody" begin September 15; tickets ($29-$59) are on sale now and can be purchased at ApolloChicago.com or by calling the box office at 773.935.6100. The press performance takes place on September 21. Bob Weir's ONLY A RIVER Premieres on NPR Music, BLUE MOUNTAIN Out September 30

Bob Weir's “Only A River,” taken from his forthcoming solo album Blue Mountain, premieres on NPR's All Songs Considered. Blue Mountain, out on September 30, marks Weir's debut project since signing with Sony Music Entertainment's Columbia/Legacy and ROAR. Full Cast Announced For TRAVESTIES at Menier Chocolate Factory

The Menier Chocolate Factory today announces the full company for a major new revival of Tom Stoppard's TRAVESTIES - the first London revival in over 20 years. Patrick Marber directs Clare Foster (Cecily), Freddie Fox (Tristan Tzara), Tom Hollander (Henry Carr), Forbes Masson (Lenin), Peter McDonald (James Joyce), Amy Morgan (Gwendolen), Sarah Quist (Nadya) and Tim Wallers (Bennett). The production - which opens on 4 October, with previews from 22 September and runs until 19 November - is now completely sold out, breaking Menier box office records by becoming the first play to sell out ahead of its opening in the theatre's history.

?Queensland Theatre Company has announced that the critically acclaimed, smash hit and Helpmann-Award winning musical Ladies in Black will tour nationally in early 2017, opening in Sydney on January 3 for its premiere season in the city in which the story is based. The show will then return for an encore season to Brisbane from January 28, before another encore season in Melbourne from February 25, and to Canberra from March 27.
