Production images are today released for The Vaults' highly anticipated immersive show, Sounds and Sorcery celebrating Disney FANTASIA ahead of its opening night this evening. In their latest production inspired by the ground-breaking 1940 Disney animation, The Vaults presents a reimagining of the many worlds of Fantasia featuring a Grecian Disco Palace, pre-historic volcanic wasteland, mirrored waterfall, human fishtank, and mystical forest among the sights. The production runs at the Vaults beneath Waterloo until 30 September.

Tickets for Second Act, the new monthly series featuring stories presented by ordinary people doing extraordinary things after mid-life, debuting in September at Waterbury's Palace Theater, go on sale Monday July 10.

Artistic Director of Watford Palace Theatre, Brigid Larmour, today announces the Autumn Season with the centrepiece being the theatre's first produced Shakespeare in 10 years - Much Ado About Nothing with an all-female cast. Stage and screen star, Patricia Morison died today at the age of 103 at home in Los Angeles of natural causes. Spring's rebirth in March invites magical thoughts of budding romance. A beloved multi-award winning musical rom-com, She Loves Me, sings in the sunny emotions and weather at Anoka's Lyric Arts. The playful musical first ran on Broadway in 1963, and was translated from Miklos Laszlo's 1937 play "Parfumerie." Joe Masteroff's book partnered with music composed by Jerry Bock together with lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, capture the perfect notes to a tangled romance between two store clerks, Amalia and Georg, in 1934 Budapest. The two clash on the small boutique's floor while unknowingly sending each other letters to 'Dear Friend (Yes, they used real snail mail).

Known as the 'King of Ghazals', Talat Mahmood was the first to bring the genre to mainstream music in the film industry. I felt strongly about re-introducing his music to today's youngsters. He was a very famous man but the children today neither know his name nor his music. It is a treasure trove we are sitting on and letting it fizzle away. In my own little way, I am literally helping our youth re-discover what already exists.
