Coronado Brewing Company is debuting the first of its 2019 Art Series releases, with Cosmic Ocean Brut IPA. The company is proud to support emerging artists by featuring a fan-submitted Instagram photo on each of its quarterly releases. The first winner of the Instagram photo contest is Anthony Drake, a southern California-based outdoor and lifestyle photographer. Drake's stunning photo of the night sky over the beach is the inspiration for Cosmic Ocean Brut IPA.

A real curious thing is happening at Theater 80 St Marks. And, oddly, it may be the off-beat, quirky must-see Off-Broadway event of the winter. Not because the show is amazing, nor because it is so terrible that it has to be seen to be believed. Truthfully, Preston Max Allen's WE ARE THE TIGERS makes you forgive its missteps by being infectiously plucky and actually fun.

Commonwealth Shakespeare Company (CSC) has added three performances to its highly anticipated upcoming production of Birdy, adapted by Naomi Wallace from the novel by William Wharton, and directed by Steven Maler. The production now runs February 27 through March 17 at the Carling-Sorenson Theater at Babson College in Wellesley.

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Paradise Square: An American Musical. The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H. Drabinsky in association with Peter LeDonne and Teatro Proscenium Limited Partnership.

In a company first, Coronado Brewing is debuting a new year-round series of beers in freshly designed 16oz six-pack cans. Weekend Vibes IPA and Never Better Double IPA are set to debut in October in 16oz cans, 22oz bottles and draft, and feature fresh branding and can imagery. A big occasion calls for a big beer, so every summer, the company releases a hopped-up imperial IPA to celebrate its anniversary. This year's beer is set to debut at Coronado's 22nd Anniversary Party on July 28, before hitting Coronado's distribution network in six-pack cans, 22oz bottles and on draft.

London's Dirty Water Records, together along Metronomo Management (Lisbon), Peer Music and Alter-K Records (Paris) and in cooperation with Sony Music/Jive Epic, are pleased to announce the US and UK album release of 'Misfit' by European blues-punk sensation, The Legendary Tigerman (A.K.A. Paulo Furtado). 'Misfit' will be released on Dirty Water Records in the US and UK territories on August 24th, 2018 and will feature limited edition white coloured 12' vinyl coupled with four exclusive and unreleased bonus tracks entitled 'Misfit Ballads EP'.

As summer approaches, Coronado Brewing is offering beer drinkers another tasty IPA in a can with the release of its next Art Series beer, Marine Dream IPA. The Coronado Art Series is an annual collection of four beers that features custom beer label art by a local artist. This year's artist - Kelcey 'KFiSH' Fisher - is a street artist and muralist known for his distinct style featuring unique patterns, detailed brushstrokes, and soft primary hues. The yearlong collaboration with KFiSH debuted earlier this year with Coco Chaos IPA - Marine Dream is now the second beer in the series with the last two beers scheduled for September and December releases.

RAGTIME is such an underrated piece of art. Although written in 1996 and staged for Broadway in 1998, it is almost prophetic in its reflection of the social unrest, racism and immigration sanctions prevalent in our world today. Based on the 1975 novel by E. L. Doctorow, with a book by Terrence McNally, music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, RAGTIME is as relevant today as it was when first conceived. Its timelessness is a credit to its brilliant and perceptive writing, albeit a sad commentary of our present society which has not learned from its past and has not progressed much in civility or compassion.

Coming off the success of North Island IPA, Coronado Brewing is releasing the next beer in its Knoxville Series - Peach Cruiser IPA - in time for summer. Coronado's Knoxville Series debuted earlier this year and features three special release beers distributed throughout Coronado's network in six-pack cans, 22oz bottles and on draft. The series offers beer drinkers fun, interesting beers available to buy on store shelves, while supplies last. Peach Cruiser IPA is the second installment in the series and comes off the heels of the very well-received North Island IPA. Early Bird Milk Stout is scheduled as the third release later this year.
