On Friday, November 24, 2023, the Central Conservatory of Music Symphony Orchestra (CCOM) from Beijing, China, will perform the opening concert of MidAmerica Productions' 41st season at Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall.

First Stage will kick off its 2023/24 season with the world premiere production DREAM, QUICKIE! DREAM!, a story for all ages inspired by the life of Donald 'Quickie' Driver, written by playwright Gloria Bond Clunie and directed by popular Milwaukee actor/producer/director Dimonte Henning.

Back in 2011 playwright Tanika Gupta staged her adaptation of Great Expectations. 12 years later she has re-worked the script, shifted the time frame and collaborated with the Artistic Director of Tamasha Pooja Ghai.
