Raven Theatre's 32nd Season, under the theme 'Family Business,' will include four plays exploring the nature of family ties, according to Producing Artistic Director Michael Menendian and Co-Artistic Director JoAnn Montemurro.

The McCallum Theatre presents the five-time Tony Award winning musical play Peter and the Starcatcher for a limited engagement of five performances with one performance on Friday, March 28, at 8:00pm; two performances on Saturday, March 29, at 2:00pm and 8:00pm, and two performances on Sunday, March 30, at 2:00pm and 7:30pm. Peter and the Starcatcher, a grown up's prequel to Peter Pan, is the innovative and imaginative musical play based on the best?selling novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. A company of a dozen actors play more than a hundred unforgettable characters, all on a journey to answer the century?old question: How did Peter Pan become The Boy Who Never Grew Up? I had the chance to chat briefly with author Ridley Pearson about Peter And The Starcatcher's incredible journey from page to stage. Here are a few excerpts from that conversation:

The Old Vic today announced its programme for Summer/Autumn 2014. The CQS Space, The Old Vic in the round, will be home to the whole season of productions, continuing after Other Desert Cities which opens this month. The plays will be performed in the round, a transformation of The Old Vic's auditorium first seen for the award-winning 2008 production of The Norman Conquests. The season of productions is supported for the fourth consecutive year by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center at the CUNY Graduate Center has announced its SPRING 2014 season of public programs. Internationally known Director Philip Wm. McKinley will direct The Sound of Music at Starlight Theatre, July 25-31. McKinley previously directed Broadway's Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark and The Boy From Oz starring Hugh Jackman, as well as the internationally acclaimed 'Mozart L'OPERA ROCK' which premiered last year in Tokyo, Japan.
