Irish Repertory Theatre announced today an extension of FINIAN'S RAINBOW, which will now run through December 31. Directed and adapted by Charlotte Moore (Da), FINIAN'S RAINBOW began previews on October 26, 2016, and officially opened November 6, 2016 at Irish Rep Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage.

Older & Reckless, MOonhORsE Dance Theatre's celebrated series curated by Artistic Director Claudia Moore, celebrates the company's 20th season with its 39th edition featuring five renowned dance artists. Governor General award winner Margie Gillis (Montreal), dance theatre maverick Robert Desrosiers with cellist/singer Anne Bourne, acclaimed dancer/co-founder of COBA (Collective Of Black Artists) BaKari I. Lindsay, choreographer/director Charles Koroneho (New Zealand), and Claudia Moore in a work byApolonia Velasquez and Ofilio Sinbadinho (Gadfly), take to the stage Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12 for three shows only at Harbourfront Centre Theatre.

The new Stan Zimmerman & Christian McLaughlin play, Knife to the Heart, a comedy about circumcision, will hold a private reading on October 16, 2016, at Los Angeles's Lex Theatre. The cast for the reading will include Wendie Malick (Hot in Cleveland), Todd Sherry (Parks & Recreation), Katie Walder (How I Met Your Mother), and Josh Zuckerman (Desperate Housewives). Michael Matthews will direct.

Urban Stages will kick off its 33rd season with the American Premiere of the award-winning drama Communion by celebrated Obie Award- winning, Canadian playwright Daniel MacIvor, who will direct the production.

Griffin Theatre Company is pleased to announce its 29th Season, featuring three productions exploring the American Dream. The 2016-17 season kicks off this fall with a rare revival of Maxwell Anderson's 1930s drama WINTERSET, directed by Ensemble Member Jonathan Berry (Pocatello, Balm in Gilead). The season continues next spring with the world premiere of IN TO AMERICA, a 400-year journey through the immigrant experience written by Artistic Director Bill Massolia (Letters Home) and directed by Dorothy Milne. Irish Repertory Theatre has announced its Fall 2016 Season. On the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage will be FINIAN'S RAINBOW, adapted and directed by Irish Rep Artistic Director Charlotte Moore, and starring Melissa Errico ('Billions', Encores! Do I Hear A Waltz?), who will reprise her role from the acclaimed 2004 production.

New shows on sale this week at bergenPAC: Oscar D'Leon-Friday, November 11, 2016 at 8PM include Melissa Etheridge's Holiday Trio-Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 8PM; The Elvis Birthday Bash-Friday, January 13, 2017 at 8PM; Colin Hay-Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 8PM; and The Pink Floyd Experience-Friday, February 3, 2017 at 8PM.

The Public Theater recently announced that Louis Cancelmi, last seen as Caliban in the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Tempest, had stepped into the company of Troilus and Cressida as Achilles, replacing David Harbour, who suffered an injury during previews and will be unable to complete the run. The play celebrates its opening tonight, August 9, after a short delay.
