Roald Dahl's CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY will play at the Boston Opera House January 8 - 20, 2019 as part of the 2018-2019 Lexus Broadway In Boston Season.   

BAYARD: A New Musical directed by Richard Allen with book by Richard Allen, music and lyrics by Taran Gray and Richard Allen, and choreography by Chloe McMillian . The benefit production will raise funds for the performing arts academy of Boys & Girls Harbor. The production will feature the Harbor Performing Arts Elite Ensemble.

The Country Music Association has selected rising stars Kassi Ashton, Travis Denning and Jameson Rodgers as recipients of the first-ever CMA KixStart Artist Scholarship. Throughout the next year, CMA and its staff will provide support for the three artists, helping connect each with professionals within the industry as well as providing unique opportunities to participate in CMA-related events during CMA Fest, CMA Awards and C2C: Country 2 Country festival in the U.K.

'I love places that have so much history,' says the Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe nominee. Among the celebrated singers who've sung there: Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Marlene Dietrich, Peggy Lee and Tina Turner. And in 1961, Tony Bennett first performed 'I Left My Heart in San Francisco' there, which is especially apt since the Fairmont sits high upon Nob Hill, 'where little cable cars climb halfway to the stars.'

An historic performance of Benjamin Britten's War Requiem by The Bach Choir on October 3rd at Westminster Cathedral will be supported by a cast of three celebrities speaking and reading about the horrors of war. The Requiem was Britten's musical plea for peace. He chose The Bach Choir to perform on the first recording of the work almost 60 years ago and now once more they will be performing the work.

Four of the Golden Ticket winners and other members of the cast of the spectacular new musical Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory have been announced today. Roald Dahl's delicious tale will be playing only in Sydney at Sydney's Capitol Theatre from 5 January 2019.
