The 39 Steps hits Arizona Theatre Company's stage at the Temple of Music and Art. Alfred Hitchcock's The 39 Steps plays from January 14 - February 4, 2012 and continues its run in Phoenix at the Herberger Theater Center from February 9 - 26, 2012.

A veteran cast brings its acclaimed performance of the noir classic Double Indemnity to San Jose, in a world premiere co-produced by the San Jose Repertory Theatre and Seattle's A Contemporary Theatre (ACT). The ensemble of five actors from Seattle and the Bay Area brought the story to stage during a successful run of Double Indemnity in Seattle in October 2011.

Following the World Shakespeare Festival, the RSC's winter season opens in October with a family show - a new adaptation of Russell Hoban's classic children's story The Mouse and His Child. Acclaimed as one of the classics of 20th century children's literature, The Mouse and His Child is a moving story about two clockwork mice thrown on a scrap heap who then have tobegin a dangerous quest for a place to belong. It is adapted for the stage by Tamsin Oglesby and will be directed by Told By An Idiot's Co-Artistic Director, Paul Hunter, who directed the RSC's recent Young People's Shakespeare production of The Comedy of Errors.

As previously reported, the original play of The King's Speech by David Seidler will be brought to the stage next year in a production directed by Adrian Noble. According to The Daily Mail, Joss Ackland, Ian McNeice and Emma Fielding have joined the production as George V, Winston Churchill and the Queen Mother.

Producers Michael Cohl and Jeremiah J. Harris announced today that Rebecca Faulkenberry (Rock of Ages) and Christina Sajous (Baby It's You, American Idiot) will be joining the cast of SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, in the roles of 'Mary Jane Watson' and 'Arachne,' respectively. Jennifer Damiano, who currently plays the role of Mary Jane, will play her final performance on November 6, while T.V. Carpio, the show's current Arachne, will play her final show on. November 13. Reeve Carney and Patrick Page will continue on in their roles as 'Peter Parker/Spider-Man' and 'Norman Osborn/Green Goblin,' respectively.

But everything changes when four siblings venture through an old wardrobe and enter this land of talking animals, charming fauns, giants and dwarves. Standing shoulder to shoulder with Aslan the Great Lion, the children battle the forces of evil and discover that Love is the deepest magic of all.
