Circle in the Square Theatre School will present LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD, a musical for children (Grades K-6), at Broadway's famed Circle in the Square Theatre (50th St., between Broadway and Eighth Avenue), at 10:30 a.m. from Monday, November 26 through Friday, November 30.

Craig Edwards (Step Mother), Thomas Eccleshare (Prince), Lisa Kerr (Ella) and Lucy Tuck (Step Sister) will reprise their roles in Sally Cookson's enchanting and inventive production of Cinderella: A Fairytale, originally staged to huge acclaim at the Tobacco Factory Theatre, Bristol in 2011. They will be joined by Tom Godwin (Step Brother) in the production which begins performances at the St. James Theatre on 12 December 2012, running until 26 January 2013, with press night on 18 December 2012. Musicians are Adam Pleeth and Brian Hargreaves, playing Benji Bower's folk-jazz score.

Arion Productions Ltd have announced the full cast for the professional world premiere of A Winter's Tale, a brand new British musical at the Landor Theatre, this November, including Helena Blackman, Alastair Brookshaw, Fra Fee, Pete Gallagher and a host of recognisable West End alumni.

On Sunday, 12 August, 2012, David Suchet met the cast of Threesixty Entertainment's The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe in Kensington Gardens. Suchet recorded the voice of Aslan, a giant puppet, for the production back in May while performing in the West End play Long Day's Journey Into Night, which closes at the Apollo Theatre on Saturday, 18th August. The world premiere of MAGDALEN, written and performed by Erin Layton, will be part of the 16th Annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street near Lafayette).

Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) (Jed Bernstein, Producing Director) has launched The Saturday Arts Program (SAP), a training ground for passionate young performers. Classes will take place weekly from September 22nd - November 17th at the Bucks County Playhouse, New Hope Solebury High School, and the Solebury School.

Imagination Stage in Bethesda, MD has embarked on a new adventure with its current production of C.S. Lewis' beloved tale, The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe. In collaboration with The Washington Ballet, it has succeeded in putting forth a theatrical revelation- a production that's not a ballet, a musical, or a straight play, but something in between. Although Imagination Stage is generally very much geared towards children, theatre and dance-loving adults are likely to be enamored with this piece, including those who come to the theatre without children! Put succinctly, this is an astounding work of art.

Zion Theatre Company founder Mahonri Stewart is a prolific local playwright who has had over a dozen of his plays produced by theatre companies in Utah. Stewart graciously agreed to speak with BroadwayWorld about his new theatre company.

Imagination Stage, in a collaboration with The Washington Ballet, presents THE LION, THE WITCH & THE WARDROBE. In this fusion of theater, dance, and puppetry, based on the novel by C.S. Lewis, the roles of the four children are played jointly by an actor and a dancer, and the courageous lion Aslan is portrayed by a life-size puppet operated by three actor/puppeteers, similar to the puppets used in the Broadway production War Horse.
