Religious tolerance gets an intra-ethnic twist in the Bergen County Players production of "The Last Night of Ballyhoo." Written by playwright Alfred Uhry, of "Driving Miss Daisy" fame, Ballyhoo won the 1997 Tony Award for best play. This production, directed by Carol Fisher, starts its run on Saturday, October 22, ending on Saturday, November 12. Curtain goes up for Friday and Saturday performances at 8 pm, with Sunday matinees at 2 pm. It will be presented at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell.

?The Pennington Players are bringing the classic play, The Diary of Anne Frank, to the stage of Kelsey Theatre. Performances are March 11, 12, 18, 19, 2016 at 8:00 pm and March 13 & 20, 2016, at 2:00 pm. Kelsey Theatre is located on the Mercer County Community College West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on March 11. There will be a special talk back session with the cast and crew held after the 8 pm performance on Friday, March 18.

Washington State native Trisha Brown is considered the most widely acclaimed choreographer of the postmodern era. For over 50 years, she pushed the limits of choreographic movement, changing modern dance forever. At 79, Trisha Brown has choreographed her last dances. In celebration of her life's work, Trisha Brown Dance Company returns to the choreographer's home state to perform the final performances of her works for the proscenium stage as part of a retrospective presented by University of Washington's World Series at Meany Hall.
