Museum Of The Moving Image Announces Events For Grand Reopening

Teatro La Tea and Clout in the Mug Productions are proud to present Dolores and North of Providence, two searing one-act plays by Edward Allan Baker . The production opens on January 26, 2011 and will run through February 12, 2011. Performances will be held at Teatro La Tea, 107 Suffolk Street in New York City. NBC officially kicks off the holiday season with the live broadcast of the 84th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade(R) from New York City, co-hosted by 'Today's' Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira, along with Al Roker. The nation's most cherished procession returns with a dazzling dose of spectacle, enchantment and tradition as the parade route will once again travel down 7th and 6th Avenue to Macy's Herald Square. This year's parade celebration will air on NBC from 9:00 a.m.- noon in all time zones.

Joseph V. Melillo, executive producer of the Brooklyn Academy of Music, today announced programming for the BAM 2011 Spring Season, which runs from Jan 7 through Jun 11, 2011. New York City Center's seventh annual Fall for Dance Festival, running September 28 - October 9, will showcase 20 national and international companies and choreographers. With ticket prices remaining at $10 for all seats, a night of dance is more affordable than a night at the movies. The festival will include world and U.S. premieres, and will feature several companies making their first U.S. appearances.

Jack Viertel, Artistic Director of New York City Center's Encores! series, today announced directors for the 2010-11 Encores! season: Kathleen Marshall will direct and choreograph the season opener, Bells Are Ringing, with music by Jule Styne and book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, opening on November 18, 2010. Gary Griffin will direct Lost in the Stars, with music by Kurt Weill and book and lyrics by Maxwell Anderson, opening on February 3, 2011. John Doyle will direct Where's Charley, based on Brandon Thomas' Charley's Aunt, with book by George Abbott and music and lyrics by Frank Loesser, opening on March 17, 2011. Music Director Rob Berman will conduct all three musicals.
