In New York City in 2004, a fun and raunchy little Broadway musical called Avenue Q escalated to stardom across the entertainment industry, nabbing the Tony Award for Best Musical. Leading the way was Best Actor nominee, John Tartaglia, who then went on to grace NY stages in Beauty and the Beast and Shrek: The Musical. Now, fans and audiences of the multi-talented comedian can anticipate his breakthrough performance into the world of feature films as John plays "Dale," the quirky, offbeat, a-sexual manager of a spooky retirement home in the upcoming comedy/horror Hotel Arthritis. Omaha Performing Arts presents Cox Music & Movies, featuring The Karate Kid and the retro pop ukulele sounds of Omaha band All Young Girls Are Machine Guns. This summer's first free Cox Music & Movies event will be held on Friday, June 22 in the Courtyard of the Holland Performing Arts Center. Music begins at 7:45 p.m. followed by the movie at dusk, or approximately 8:45 p.m.

According to Indie Wire, Broadway favorite Cheyenne Jackson is currently in talks to star in Steven Soderbergh's upcoming 'Behind The Candelabra' film about the life of Liberace. Jackson would join previously announced Academy Award(R) winners Michael Douglas ('Wall Street,' 'Traffic,' 'Solitary Man') and Matt Damon ('Contagion,' 'Ocean's Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen,' 'Invictus'). Also in negotiationas are Rob Lowe and Boyd Holbrook.

Nickelodeon gives kids another reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving with special super-stuffed weekend of premieres and animated awesomeness! The programming feast kicks off Wednesday, Nov. 23 with the hour-long premiere of The Fairly OddParents 'Timmy's Secret Wish' at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT), followed by a marathon of Nickelodeon movies on Thanksgiving Day. On Friday, Nov. 25, Kids will need to save room for a heaping helping of SpongeBob SquarePants beginning at 9:00 a.m. (ET/PT), including back-to-back premieres at 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
