New York, New York: National Alliance for Musical Theatre (Betsy King Militello, Executive Director) is thrilled to announce the first round of casting for the 28th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which takes place on Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28, 2016 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).  It was announced today Tony Award-Winner Cynthia Erivo and Tony Award nominee Joshua Henry will star in a special one-night-only benefit concert version of Jason Robert Brown's seminal musical, The Last Five Years, with the composer himself leading the orchestra. INSPIRATIONAL BROADWAY - an evening of Broadway, R&B, Gospel, and Pop classics featuring Broadway's brightest lights and an ensemble of uplifting voices - has added special guest stars Adam Pascal, Eden Espinosa, Telly Leung and Jarrod Spector. The concert takes place at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill on February 15, 2016 at 7:30 PM (Doors at 6:00 PM).
