The Town Hall, New York City's landmark theatre and concert venue (123 West 43rd Street), is pleased to honor two influential women: Judith Jamison, Artistic Director Emerita of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and Dr. Joyce F. Brown, President of the Fashion Institute of Technology.

It's just been announced that Lauren Ambrose will star as Fanny Brice in FUNNY GIRL, in the first Broadway production of the musical since it originally opened in 1964. FUNNY GIRL, which features music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Bob Merrill and book by Isobel Lennart, will be directed by Tony Award-winner Bartlett Sher.

Dee Dee Bridgewater will perform a tribute to the legendary Billie Holiday that will feature selections from Bridgewater's latest recording, 'Eleanora Fagan (1915-1959): To Billie With Love From Dee Dee,' for which Ms. Bridgewater received the 2011 Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album. San Francisco's cutting-edge Cutting Ball Theater proudly announces the lineup for its 12th season. The ambitious season opens in October with Maurice Maeterlinck's PELLEAS AND MELISANDE in a new translation by Cutting Ball Artistic Director Rob Melrose, who will also direct.
