To celebrate the theatrical release of highly anticipated animated feature 'MAYA THE BEE MOVIE,' Shout! Factory Kids and Children's Hospital Los Angeles have teamed up to present a benefit premiere screening of this fun-filled family movie today, May 2, 2015 at Laemmle's Music Hall Theater in Beverly Hills. Shout! Factory Kids will donate all ticket proceeds from this benefit screening to Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Studio 100 Media, the film's production company, and Shout! Factory have offered to match the funds raised at this screening as additional donation to Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

On February 23 and 24, 2015, the pilot episode of composer Lisa Bielawa's serial opera Vireo: The Spiritual Biography of a Witch's Accuser will be videotaped at The Yost Theater in Santa Ana (307 North Spurgeon St.). Producers David Mirvish and Barry & Fran Weissler just announced that the Tony Award-winning Best Musical TITANIC, with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and book by Peter Stone, will finally have its Canadian premiere in a brand new production directed by Thom Southerland. TITANIC will play a six-week engagement at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, from July 22 through August 31. TITANIC will then berth on Broadway in the Fall of 2014.

As always, The Washington Stage Guild's 2012-2013 season will include four productions of plays that delight and challenge audiences with wit, insight, and truth. There are always lessons to be learned in these great works, and the plays of the Stage Guild's 27th season revolve around the complex relationship between teacher and student, mentor and disciple, expert and novice, when the inevitable happens and the pupil takes flight. Martin Markinson and Jeff Tick are pleased to announce that Monday, March 12th marks the 100th anniversary of the Little/Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44th Street), which opened on March 12, 1912 with John Galsworthy's play THE PIGEON. The theatre is currently home to the smash hit musical Rock of Ages. A private centennial celebration at the theatre is confirmed for Thursday, May 24, 2012.
