Audiences have just six weeks left to see the critically acclaimed hit production of The Ferryman by Jez Butterworth in the West End. Produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, Neal Street Productions and Royal Court Theatre Productions, The Ferryman will play its final performance at the Gielgud Theatre on 19 May 2018, prior to its Broadway transfer.

The producers, Sonia Friedman Productions and Neal Street Productions, have just announced that Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman, directed by Sam Mendes, will extend its run at the Gielgud Theatre for a second time.

Producers Sonia Friedman Productions and Neal Street Productions today announced new cast members for The Ferryman.

The producers, Sonia Friedman Productions, Neal Street Productions and Royal Court Theatre Productions, are delighted to announce that Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman, directed by Sam Mendes, will extend its run at the Gielgud Theatre until 6 January 2018. 

Butterworth's writing offers an exquisite balance of humour and drama, revelry and mourning, surprise and expectation. It is a masterclass in every aspect of production and performance. It seems as though the Royal Court has once again made history with this incredible, deft creation.

After the short run at the Royal Court Theatre sold out in just one day, the producers are delighted to announce that Jez Butterworth's epic, new playThe Ferryman will transfer to the West End. Multi award-winning actor, director and writer Paddy Considine will be joined by Laura Donnelly and Genevieve O'Reilly in the production directed by Sam Mendes.
