Platform Theatre Group (Greg Tully, Producer) will present the New York revival of Lee Blessing's Two Rooms, directed by Peter Flynn, for a limited Off-Broadway engagement at the Lion Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street), beginning October 2nd. Opening Night is set for Tuesday, October 7th (7 PM).

The Colony Theatre Company presents the third production of its 2008 - 2009 season, the Los Angeles premiere of MARY'S WEDDING, written by Stephen Massicotte and directed by David Rose. MARY'S WEDDING will preview on Wednesday, October 22; Thursday, October 23 and Friday, October 24 at 8:00pm and will open on Saturday, October 25 at 8:00pm and continue through Sunday, November 23 at The Colony Theatre, 555 North Third Street (at Cypress) adjacent to the Burbank Town Center.

Tony Award winners Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons will return to Broadway to star together in the world premiere of Impressionism, a new American play by Michael Jacobs. The production, which will be directed by Tony Award-winner Jack O'Brien, will come to Broadway in Spring, 2009.

The Schoolhouse Theater and Mare Nostrum Elements presents a rare Off-Broadway revival of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Arthur Miller's The Crucible at The Arclight Theatre. Directed by Pamela Moller Kareman, performances of this limited engagement begin February 6 with opening night scheduled for Saturday, February 9 at 6:30PM. Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the full company joining Margaret Colin as 'Katharine Markham' and Tony Award-winner Harriet Harris as 'Mildred Watson Drake' in a new Broadway production of John Van Druten's comedy Old Acquaintance, directed by Michael Wilson at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway

Curt Dempster, Founding Artistic Director of Ensemble Studio Theatre, was found dead at his home in New York City today (January 19, 2007). The cause remains undetermined at this time.

Bill Kenwright and Marla Rubin announce that they will present the Almeida Theatre production of FESTEN, the hugely successful London play about a family with a dark secret, on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre (239 W. 45th St.), with performances beginning Thursday, March 23. Larry Bryggman, Michael Hayden, Ali MacGraw and Julianna Margulies have been cast in the Broadway production. Directed by Rufus Norris, in a dramatization by David Eldridge from the Danish 1998 film, FESTEN will have its official press opening on Sunday, April 9.

The National Theatre of Great Britain's production of Alan Bennett's THE HISTORY BOYS, will open on Sunday, April 23, 2006 on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street) with the National's acting company for a 20-week limited engagement.
