Arden Theatre Company kicks off its 2009/10 season with the Philadelphia premiere of The History Boys, Alan Bennett's international hit that explores the anarchy of adolescence and the purpose of education. The History Boys previews begin on Thursday, September 24. Opening night is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 30. The production runs through November 1.

The 'Bright Side of Life' will light up for just two more weeks as The Tony and Grammy Award-winning MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT makes its final stop (after an almost four year national tour run) at the Orange County Performing Arts Center on October 6 - 18. 'The Red Shoes,' the newly restored 1948 masterpiece from directors Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, will have its U.S. premiere at the Directors Guild of America on July 29. The film underwent an extensive 2-year 4K digital restoration by the UCLA Film & Television Archive and The Film Foundation, in association with the British Film Institute, ITV Global Entertainment Ltd and Janus Films.
