The Book of Mormon's Josh Gad just posted a photo on his twitter page of him and Charlie Sheen, who just visited the show and had nothing but good things to say about it! Gad wrote: 'So good to see @charliesheen tonight at the show. Can't wait for the Roast' at @Joshgad, to which sheen responded: 'I highly recommend The Book of Mormon!! You guys rock!' @charliesheen . Tony Award-winning actress Nikki M. James delighted students as their special surprise guest during the Broadway Artists Alliance 2011 Summer Workshop. Ms. James (currently starring the the Tony Award-winning The Book of Mormon) lent her talents for a surprise Q&A with the students of Broadway Artists Alliance.

The Book of Mormon, winner of this year's Tony for Best Musical, presented a free fan performance today at 2:00 PM. The entire theatre was offered to entrants of The Book of Mormon lottery. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the photo op and brings you a look at the scene below!

The East Coast was not the only crowd that was in a celebratory mood on Sunday night for the Tony Awards, at which The Book of Mormon came out the big winner. In Seattle, Washington, the premiere cast of Disney's Aladdin, directed by Mormon's Casey Nicholaw, was also celebrating the nine Mormon Tonys, including the one accepted by Nicholaw for Best Direction of a Musical. The cast of The Book of Mormon signed copies of the show's Original Broadway Cast Recording from Ghostlight Records today at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. The Book of Mormon has been nominated for 14 Tony Awards, including Best Musical and is the winner of the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical and four Outer Critics Circle Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score (Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone), Best Director (Casey Nicholaw and Trey Parker) and Best Actor (Josh Gad).
