On Friday, November 28, 2025, the two-time GRAMMY-nominated Miró Quartet will release a new holiday album, Hearth, on PENTATONE. In curating this album, Miró asked each participating composer to select a piece linked to his or her own heritage and personal associations.

For John Yates and his mother Dee, Good Friday means an annual pilgrimage to hear Handel's glorious oratorio Messiah at London's iconic Royal Albert Hall, performed by the Royal Choral Society - the choir has performed it at the RAH every Good Friday since 1876.
