Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence have officially found their showrunners. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lionsgate TV has tapped Bob Boyett and Robert Horn, who have worked on such shows as FULL HOUSE, FAMILY MATTERS, and PERFECT STRANGERS, to write and executive produce their upcoming comedy starring Grammer and Lawrence.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today that the 2013 Public Theater annual gala will celebrate the company's acclaimed 1980 production of the musical, THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, with a one-night-only concert performance on Monday, June 10 at the Delacorte Theater where The Public's production originally premiered more than three decades ago. Sir Howard Stringer, Arielle Tepper Madover, and Renee Beaumont will serve as Gala Co-Chairs for this unforgettable evening that will also honor the late Nora Ephron who was a longtime Public Theater board member and consummate lover of Shakespeare in the Park.

According to Deadline, cable television may be prepping for one of its most iconic partnerings in a long time. FRASIER star Kelsey Grammer and comedian Martin Lawrence are considering teaming up to star in and produce a comedy series for Lionsgate TV and its studio Debmar-Mercury. The two reportedly sat down with studio execs in November to discuss the potential series.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today that the cast of the acclaimed epic musical GIANT will enter the recording studio in January to create an original cast album, which will be released by Ghostlight Records in spring 2013. GIANT officially opened at The Public on November 15 and features a book by Sybille Pearson, music and lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa, and direction by Michael Greif. The show will end its limited run at The Public Theater at Astor Place on Sunday, December 16 following a final two-week extension.

Broadway favorite Mandy Patinkin will be back on the small screen this year, as the will return to Showtime's 'Homeland' for the second season. Patinkin recently told the Telegraph that he is very thankful for the role. He revealed: "I'm in a constant state of gratitude. I don't quite understand why I have been given this gift. And I don't know what else I could wish for."
