The Talea Ensemble – comprised of sixteen bold and boundary-breaking musicians, with a mission to champion musical creativity, cultivate curious listeners, and bring visionary new works to life – today announces its fifteenth and 2023-2024 season of performances. New York audiences can anticipate multiple world and US premieres, a special winter solstice concert, public showcases of two new operas in the workshopping process, numerous commissions, and a recording residency.
Blue13 Dance Company to Perform at The Wallis This Month

Blue13 Dance Company, the celebrated LA-based dance ensemble living at the intersection of diaspora and disruption, returns to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts with five culturally daring Bollywood-inspired works by Artistic Director and prolific choreographer Achinta S. McDaniel, on Friday, May 12, 7:30 pm, and Saturday, May 13, 2023, 7:30 pm, in The Wallis' Bram Goldsmith Theater.

The Wallis Presents Daniel Hope-Zurich Chamber Orchestra

Traditional and contemporary versions of Vivaldi's iconic "The Four Seasons" are juxtaposed in a distinctive program by the acclaimed Zurich Chamber Orchestra, led by Music Director Daniel Hope, who serves as violin soloist in both works, presented by the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, March 22, 2018, 7:30 pm. The concert includes Vivaldi's classic cycle of the famous Baroque violin concertos followed by Vivaldi Recomposed, Max Richter's contemporary minimalist take on the masterpiece. Hope, "among the best in the world" (The Observer), also conducts/performs Fabian Muller's Intermezzo III "Winter" for Violin and Ensemble

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Presents Festival Honoring American Composers

The festival opens with a program of works by Bernstein, Barber and Rachmaninov on Thursday, October 30, 2008, and concludes with the Atlanta debut of a concert-staged production of John Adams' Dr. Atomic on Sunday, November 23, 2008.
