Walnut Street Theatre continues its landmark 208th season with an exciting stage adaptation of the all-time classic musical THE WIZARD OF OZ. Directed by Glenn Casale, with choreography by Patti Colombo, THE WIZARD OF OZ begins previews on November 8th, opens on November 16th and runs through January 8th on the Walnut's Mainstage.

Long Wharf Theatre, in conjunction with the Old Globe in San Diego, presents the world premiere of Steve Martin's Meteor Shower, directed by Artistic Director Gordon Edelstein, running from September 28 through October 23, 2016. The full cast has just been announced!

Meg Fofonoff and Stacey Stephens, Producing Artistic Directors of Fiddlehead Theatre Company, today announce the cast and production team for the exclusive Boston premiere of PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT: The Musical.

Casting for American Ballet Theatre's The Nutcracker, co-presented by Segerstrom Center for the Arts and ABT, was announced today by Kevin McKenzie, ABT Artistic Director and Terry Dwyer, Segerstrom Center President. Choreographed by ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky, The Nutcracker will be given 12 performances at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, December 9-18, 2016. The Nutcracker, set to music by Peter Ilyitch Tchaikovsky, features choreography by Alexei Ratmansky, scenery and costumes by award-winning designer Richard Hudson and lighting by Jennifer Tipton. The Pacific Symphony performs the beloved holiday score. In the Los Angeles Times review from last year's inaugural Center performance, it declared, "Choreographer Alexei Ratmansky has made his own Christmas miracle: a joyful 'Nutcracker' ballet that is ravishing and clever enough to inspire multiple viewings."

STAGES St. Louis is thrilled to announce its spectacular 31st Season! Regarded as one of most popular musicals of all time, the classic My Fair Lady turns 60 and receives this month a new theatrical production signed by the Director Jorge Takla. With a great cast and live orchestra, the show - based on the classic Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw - tells the story of an aristocrat teacher, Mr. Henry Higgins, who takes up the challenge to transform the poor Eliza Doolittle, street vendor without any refinement, in a society lady. Segerstrom Center for the Arts begins its 30th Anniversary celebration with another one-night-only star-studded evening of dance: Tour de Force III. The performance will be the first event to represent the array and diversity of the Center's artistic programming, in this case, 30 years of presenting the greatest ballet companies and the world's most celebrated dancers. Tour de Force III will be on Saturday, August 27 in Segerstrom Hall. Produced in collaboration with Ardani Artists, the program will include four Center premieres: Clay by Vladimir Varnava, Zeitgeist by Alastair Marriott, Tristesse by Marcelo Gomes and Le Divertissement du Roi by Maxim Petrov. The international cast includes Diana Vishneva, Joaquin de Luz, Marcelo Gomes, Denis Matvienko, Marcelino Sambe?, Friedemann Vogel and Edward Watson, as well as members of the The Royal Ballet, Mariinsky Ballet and the National Ballet of Canada.

Show Boat will run for twelve performances from June 22-July 3, 2016. Co-Directed by Fofonoff and Stephens, Show Boat will feature a cast of 50 starring seasoned international and off-Broadway performers including Kim Corbett (West Side Story, Les Miserables) as Magnolia Hawks, Jeremiah James (The Fantasticks) as Gaylord Ravenal, Lindsay Roberts (The Gershwins' Porgy And Bess) as Queenie, and Brian Kinnard (Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story) as Joe. Show Boat is Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II's epic of life on the Mississippi River with some of the most beautiful and influential music ever written for the stage including 'Ol'Man River,' 'Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man' and 'Bill.' Show Boat will be choreographed by Wendy Hall, with a 27-piece live orchestra under the direction of Charles Peltz.

The celebrated Newman & Oltman Guitar Duo will appear at the Guitarfest 2016 on Saturday, April 30. Michael Newman and Laura Oltman will perform the music of Dušan Bogdanovi?, Johann Kaspar Mertz, Paul Moravec, Alfonzo Montes & Irina Kircher and Isaac Albeniz. The concert will be held at 8:00 at the Shea Center for the Performing Arts.

Internationally award-winning South African singer, songwriter, and activist Johnny Clegg brings his infectious and vibrant blend of Western pop and African Zulu rhythms to Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre in Malibu tonight, April 23 at 8 p.m.
